Production optimization problem for managers
The stationery manufacturing industry is one of the developing industries in Vietnam. The demand for use is high for schools from primary, secondary, high schools, so diversifying products to meet the needs of users is a problem that factories have to solve. However, along with product diversification, the problem of optimizing production costs will need to be considered. One of the steps that makes managers have a headache is how to label barcodes (standard barcodes for products) in the most optimal way when the labor costs of the industry are increasing.
How to solve the problem
In the stationery manufacturing industry, factories can receive hundreds or even thousands of products to meet consumer tastes and product display needs of stores, supermarkets, etc. For the customers we have provided, the problem is how to meet the output of 50 products / minute with a system of up to 500 different types of products.
Each product must have its own barcode, and how to print and label barcodes without errors, ensure production speed… these are a series of necessary requirements, not to mention specific requirements such as connecting to unloading robot systems, data management…
Solution and operational optimization
We have provided roller label printing and application solution (also known as Roller Applicator Labeler). With roller label printing and application machine, customers can create data up to 500 designs corresponding to 500 product codes in production. The factory can call each design ID for each product design. The label printing and application machine will automatically search and connect the ID corresponding to the design and print the label on the product.
The machine’s speed of up to 60 labels/minute will ensure the needs of customers. Flexibility and ease of operation during the change of different designs are also advantages of the system. With reasonable investment costs, the ROI problem of less than one year is a plus point of this industrial roller labeling and printing machine.
